Kingston School of Dance approached me to create a new and improved logo to be launched at their 50th anniversary. They wanted the logo to be clean, abstract, and to visually represent movement and dance. They also wanted it to pay visual homage to their original logo from 50 years ago. At the end of the logo process, I told them I would like to donate the logo design.
2016
I was invited to speak with youth aged 12–18, many from challenging home environments, to share my life and work experiences. My goal was to inspire resilience, confidence, and personal growth, empowering each young person to overcome obstacles and believe in their ability to shape their own path. I received positive feedback from both the Kingston Boys & Girls Club and the youth themselves, highlighting the impact of these sessions in fostering mentorship, encouragement, and motivation.

During my time with the St. Lawrence Parks Commission, I had the privilege of attending multiple training courses focused on process and efficiency improvements, including 5S, LEAN, Six Sigma, and KAIZEN methodologies. I actively apply these learnings across my leadership, strategy, and design work, blending structured operational efficiency with creative problem-solving to drive both team performance and high-quality, impactful outcomes.
2009-2012
During my 3 year program I learned about design principles, typography, colour, and digital tools in the first year; branding, interaction and web design, motion graphics, and design history in the second; and advanced portfolio, research, branding systems, entrepreneurship, and a field placement in the final year.

I successfully completed one year of the AMC program before switching to the Graphic Design Program. During this year I was a recipient of 3 GREG Awards (see awards section below).
