My story

Follow my creative journey

From hands-on design to leading global brand initiatives, guided by the same curiosity and craft that started it all.

In the past 15 years of my career, I’ve had the opportunity to direct and collaborate with agencies, cultural organizations, and businesses of all sizes.

I’ve led teams of 5–25 creatives, helped create award-winning projects, and supported global events recognized for their innovation and artistry. From hands-on junior roles through to creative leadership, I’ve developed a deep understanding of how craft, collaboration, and strategy come together to create meaningful work.

It all started with a love for creating.

For me, my career is really just an extension of my lifelong creative practice.

Ever since my early childhood I’ve loved drawing, painting, performing, making things… you name it — and today, I’m an avid painter, sculptor, musician, photographer, songwriter, visual artist, and more. All of these disciplines have helped inform how I approach storytelling and form in my professional work. My personal work truly helps keep me connected to experimentation, intuition, and the human side of creativity.

Design and I just kind of found each other.

My love for storytelling turned into something bigger, a lifelong fascination with how visuals and ideas connect.

My entrepreneurial side combined with my passion for storytelling brought me to the Advertising & Marketing Communications Program at St. Lawrence College, but in year one I was introduced to the world of design and fell in love. Connecting to people through words felt like it came naturally, but Graphic Design… well it opened the door into a whole new world of intentionally combining visuals into language. I was hooked.

After completing my first year, I made the call to switch to the Graphic Design Program. I had to.

Enter the giant portfolio bag filled with pens, pencils, rulers, pencil crayons, markers, cutting mats, knives, mounting boards, sticky tape and cover sheets.

I was in heaven.

I got to spend the next three years honing my Graphic Design skills from the ground up. From the basics to the big leagues — I learned the ins and outs of design fundamentals through to advanced theory and application.

I had been designing cover art and doing photoshoots for local musicians since my first year in college, but in my first year of graphic design I officially started my freelance design company, where I did design work for local businesses, events, musicians and more. In my final year of college I did a graphic design placement with Ross Video, and worked as a Junior Graphic Designer over the summer for the St. Lawrence Parks Commission. However, none of this prepared me for the next chapter.

I was hired by the St. Lawrence Parks Commission to help create Pumpkinferno.

Enter 6,000 styrofoam pumpkins, 50 acres, and a vision. Wait a sec... this isn't 'Graphic Design'.

I know... but from age 21-25 I was fortunate to lead the creation of an artistic-based fall event at Upper Canada Village. I was instrumental in developing everything relating to the event — from designing the logo, to creating the processes and artwork, as well as leading the production and experience design. Over the years I also got involved in budgeting, leading facility expansions, franchising, and more. I helped lay the groundwork and create an internationally recognized, award-winning, month-long event that grew to attract 90,000 visitors and generate a local economic impact of over 9 million dollars in one year. The event has since expanded into 4 locations across Ontario and Canada.

Fast forward to today where I'm currently leading the art direction and graphic design team for Ross Video at a global scale.

I began my journey as the Senior Graphic Designer reporting to the Creative Director, and after their departure, I was presented with the opportunity to step up and fill the void. I managed to rise to the occasion while also raising the bar around Ross Video's brand. I am now leading the design team while overseeing the corporate brand’s visual identity. I provide art direction across all digital, print, and experiential initiatives, including the website, trade show booths, and sponsorships. I manage projects, set quality standards and KPIs, collaborate with executives and external agencies, and ensure every touchpoint reflects both strategic vision and creative excellence.

I am currently spearheading the brand evolution.
